Bridal Symposium

This past weekend, we participated in the Bridal Symposium show (www.bridalsymposium.com) and it was quite interesting. It was my first time working this show and I was surprised at how small it was. I have been only at the Bridal Extravaganza (www.bridalextravaganzashow.com) and it's quite a bit bigger, I mean a lot bigger. Saturday was a really slow for everyone as the treacherous weather kept most people inside, away from the flooding streets and tornados. The weather was pretty ugly all day and it definitely showed in the small number of brides that showed up. Although the volume was not there, the brides that were there were very good b/c they're the ones that really wanted to be there. We met some really great brides and will be following up with them this week. Luckily the weather was cooperative on Sunday and the brides showed up on Sunday. It was a really good day on Sunday. Our next couple of weeks will be extremely busy meeting with all these brides.
We will be honoring our Bridal show specials for another two weeks, for all the brides that could not make it to the show b/c of the weather. Call the studio for more details!!!

Until next time.

Trash the Dress Session in Austin

Wow, this weekend was so much fun. Every once in a while I get to go out and take pictures that are for me. Well this weekend, my recent bride, Katie and her friend Amanda, agreed to come to Austin's , Hamilton Pool Preserve, (http://www.hamiltonpools.com/) to do a Trash the Dress session. The weather was absolutely perfect and the water was a tad on the nippy side but they were such troopers and we had a blast playing in the water and the rock caves. check out some of the pictures from it. We spent most of the day in Austin playing at the preserve. It was so pretty there and a great getaway for an afternoon. I highly recommend it to anyone that want to see something really cool and get away from the city for a day.

thank you katie and Amanda for being so awesome and so much fun to hang out with.
